Vilaur is a quiet village of Ampurdán located 15 min. from the beaches of San Pedro Pescador and l'Escala and only 15 min. of Figueres.
Their houses are made of stone, and is surrounded by woods and meadows. With only 70 inhabitants, without traffic or shops, silence and tranquility are guaranteed.

At 1 Km. there is the Fluvià river with margins of lush vegetation and hidden sandy beaches, where to bathe in summer.
Can Cavaller is an old farmhouse formerly used for agricultural use, is part of the town wall and is classified as cultural heritage, some of its stone walls reach a meter wide. It is located at the end of the village with views of the woods on one side and the square on the other.

At 1,500 m by dirt road is Can Sort, house of rural tourism where the owners, Jaume and Cristina reside. It is possible to access the services of restoration and horse riding with previous reservation.
