The Albera
Near the house, if we like to walk, we find marked circuits with excursions to various dolmens, menhirs, and natural lagoons. The house is located on the access road to the Recasens Castle and very close to the impressive Romanesque monasteries: Sant Quirze de Colera in Rabos, Santa Maria in Vilabertran and Sant Pere de Rodes from Vilajuiga.
In Albera, a wine region, each village has one or more wineries, some with scheduled visits, Capmany, Espolla, Masarac, Rabos, Perelada etc ... with large vineyards, DO Emporda. In Vilartoli itself, 1km from the house, we find Celler La Gutina, a biological wine cellar where tastings, visits and various activities are organized.

At 10 km is Perelada, with its golf course, its castle/CASINO, luxury hotel and restaurant with SPA and organization of music concerts.
We can also visit the old fishing villages such as Port de la Selva, Cadaqués or Colera, quiet in winter, but lively in summer, with their small coves and the crystal clear water of Cap de Creus.
Finally, a place where tranquility is breathed, but very close to attractive excursions and just 15 minutes away from Figueres or La Jonquera.
